Saturday Morning Cartoons is a deep blue jelly base with medium red, green and blue glitter. Usually pigmented bases mute colors of the glitter, even if it’s extremely bright. This is not the case with this nail polish; on contrary green and red glitter especially stands out with the bright blue background.
This nail polish is literally packed with glitter, however, it applies evenly. Overall, I would recommend using 3 coats, because the base is jelly. You can also use any dark blue crème polish as a base. As a top coat, I used Seche Vite to add a little bit more shine, but SMC is not top coat “hungry”, so you can skip top coat part if you want.
