Pink Wednesday - Tart with a Heart by Butter London

Tart with a Heart is a part of Butter London Holiday 2011 Collection along with the Black Knight.
It’s a beige/pink glitter with a lot of silver, gold, pink particles. Very pretty and toned down color.

Glitter particles are very shiny, but the finish itself is not glossy even with the top coat on. Quite an interesting finish, reminds me of sandpaper.

Criss-Cross Nail Art

I’m trying to better my skills in nail art last couple of weeks, because, frankly speaking, I’m quite bad at it. So, this weekend I tried to come up with something pretty and not complicated.

For Criss-cross manicure I used Essie Mint Apple as a base and Orly Purple Velvet that has a matte finish. The imitation of the rhinestones was made by nail art pens.

Cult Nails Unicorn Puke

This post will probably create huge lemmings, but unfortunately only 275 polishes were released and they are sold out by now.

When the news about the preorder were spread I immediately knew I absolutely need it. I had to wait almost a month, but every day was worth it, because I have never seen anything like this before....absolute gorgeousness.

Unicorn Puke is nothing similar to “Unicor Pee” or Clarins 230 that is a huge hit. It has purple/blue gelly base and a lot of flakies of different colors: pink, green, purple, blue, etc. For this mani I used Priti NYC Bachelor Buttons that is very close to the color of the base.

Snakeskin Pattern Manicure

Hello Ladies,

Sorry for being out of touch for 2 weeks: work and school have been quite hectic. But, it doesn’t mean that I wasn’t doing my nailsJ

I really love snakeskin pattern, so I decided to try it out with my nails. For this manicure I used Essie Chinchilly sponged with OPI Stranger Tides. For the snake pattern I used BM-215 and Revlon Silver Coin, that turned out to work very well for stamping.

Overall, I’m very pleased how my snake mani turned out.
